For this National Day film, Qatar Foundation asked us to celebrate Qatar’s rich heritage, with students playing a central role. The goal was to mix tradition, pride, and sustainability, set to a mashup of iconic Qatari songs. We choreographed the students’ performances while mixing in unscripted, undirected moments to capture the genuine energy of student life. From quiet library moments to planting trees, each scene reflected the core values of growth, learning, and national pride. The film's structure mirrors the ebb and flow of music, starting with calm, reflective moments and building to high-energy, collective scenes. The transitions between performances were seamless, with each student group contributing to the evolving narrative. We filmed across several Qatar Foundation school campuses, capturing both the structured performances and the authentic, everyday moments. The film reaches its peak with students waving flags together, symbolizing unity.
